The founder (Chou Chih-Fu) gathered TCM practitioners and pharmaceutical manufacturers to established Tian-I Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 1983. Tian-I, realizing the importance of TCM for preventive medicine, developed the brand Tenergy—a line of health food products—in 2010. The company has also established a tourism factory and a flagship store to promote traditional Chinese medicine culture.
